I have been coming here to Maine for over 30 years and I have to say this is the worst food I’ve ever had at this place. A pretzel that was hard as a rock. Worst nachos ever!!!! Not sure who’s posting the great reviews but I’m guessing it’s the owners or employees because it’s AWFUL More

Great little place we just happen to stumble upon on a weekend venture to OOB. Live music was a nice bonus that day! We didn't have the food, but everything we saw come out, looked absolutely delicious. Drinks were great and reasonably priced, the bartender was really personable. Will totally be back next year when we come back!

One of my favorite bars in OOB. There isn't another bar like it in New England. It looks like a boat. It sits on the sand right in front of the beach/water and they have plenty of live music.

The food was good we got the pizza, burgers, and chicken Quesadilla. The quesadilla was stuffed! Veiw was nice of the water. Only problems we had was when people used the shower at the hotel nextdoor by the pool it would spray us and we waited quite a bit for out food. More

Wouldn’t waste another penny at this place. Service was slow but the server was very pleasant. Nutrl buckets are expensive and watered down. They closed at 9 pm on July 3rd. That should be one of their busiest days. Manager, or possibly the owner, has a real attitude problem. Quesadilla was very good. The pirate ship theme is nice. Several other places I’d go to first.

I really wanted a place on the beach With drinks and live music. We drove up to pirate's patio and my husband immediately said no way. He thought it looked like a dive and decided that we wanted to go somewhere else.. We ended up walking down the strip to the pier and back. There was a security guard at the pier and I asked him where we could get good food he gave us a suggestion of the landmark but when we went over there we didn't like the menu. The security guard had also had suggested pirate's patio because I wanted to place on the beach. He said that they have really good pizza so I convinced my husband to go. Their drink menu is small not many Draft or cocktail options. We did find drinks that we both liked. We ended up getting the godfather pizza. The godfather is pepperoni sausage and cherry peppers. Pizza was amazing. My husband said it was the best pizza hes had in years. The view was stunning. The weather was beautiful. And John our server was great. We would definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

A gf of mine had a bday this weekend and we stayed in OOB. She has two younger children and including them, we had 6 in our party. Parking was tricky, but we figured it out. We were excited for the pirate theme and the food. This establishment does not say “bar” in the name and has tables inside for seating a group. We’re all reasonably dressed ladies of middle-class with manners and means. At 4:30 PM, when we arrived, the staff told us they were closing and it was last call. Google lists them as open until 10PM and it was a SATURDAY. I’ve never been discriminated against, but this appears to be blatant “adultism” - as in they did not want children in their establishment and LIED to avoid having them there. That’s the only thing I can think of. If kids were not allowed, and they strictly were a bar, should there not be signage or a better way of saying that than “it’s last call and we’re closing” when they clearly are not?

Love the dive bar atmosphere and the amazing view. But don't like that you have to walk to another building to go to the bathroom. The bartender had no real clue how to make the very very expensive bucket drinks. I will go again but I will drink beer.. the drinks are expensive oh and no parking.. More
